Almost half way there

As we reach day 34 of our 75 Hard Challenge, the journey has been a mix of triumphs and trials. This challenge has been and still is pushing my limits, reshaping my daily routine, and teaching me the value of resilience and community support. Here’s what I've been going through in the past 33 days:

Fundraising Success: A Heartfelt Thank You

I'm thrilled to announce that with the help of only 11 supporters, we've raised £268 towards our £500 goal. Special shoutouts to Cam Wilson, Siuuuu, and JLL for their generous donations of £50 each. These champions have significantly pushed us forward. However, I've noticed a slowdown in contributions recently. Let’s reignite the flame of generosity! Mastering Time Management

The challenge has seamlessly integrated into my life, yet adapting wasn’t easy. Initially, I underestimated the commitment required, having already been used to basically 1.5 hours of daily exercise. The real test has been in juggling workouts and reading the days where I feel like 24 hours aren't enough, this has demanded unwavering discipline. Surprisingly, I've found innovative ways to multitask, such as combining reading with spinning(Not too fun to read at 170+ bpm), which has significantly enhanced my time management skills.

They don’t know me son!

Taking on this challenge has catapulted my physical health to new heights. Constantly getting new personal bests in both strength and endurance, including a 175kg deadlift followed by a 5k run at a pace of 4:26 min/km, has been exhilarating. The commitment to abstain from alcohol, though very challenging, has markedly boosted my energy levels and overall well-being. Sleep, however, still needs some work.

Taking mental health to a new level

This experience has showing me the strong relationship between physical and mental health. Overcoming initial mental hurdles has fortified my belief in the power of persistence. An important part of this mental transformation has been influenced by "Dopamine Nation." Despite its writing style not being my favorite, the book’s insights into the dynamics of dopamine and pain have encouraged me to stop and think about the habits that tie me down on a day-to-day basis.

Embarking on this challenge has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life. It’s a testament to the power of setting ambitious goals and working collectively towards achieving them. I encourage you to share our mission with your family and friends, if 11 people have raised 268£ imagine what 50 people can do. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support encourages me to push through to the end. Let’s continue to inspire and motivate each other.

Non-alcoholic cheers,

Fer
